Itachi Parasol by Valdrein Itachi Parasol by Valdrein
My Itachi Parasol is finished! Yay!
It actually took a lot long then I thought and I was stupid and did it on our VERY light badge carpet X'D
But! I managed to clean up the red splatter before my mom got home @.@

TeeHee, It was fun doing all the blood though X'D For the inside I poured the paint in the enter and flipped it up so it rained down (hence the mad carpet cleaning at it went past my mat T-T)

I also got my little sister to help with the hand prints to make child ones since my hands are huge and manly X'D

Hopefully I'll have some pictures with this this weekend >< *knocks on wood*

I would like to know, what kind of painting you used on this parasol, please?

I used acrylic paint for mine but it's not the best thing to use. A friend of mine used gesso paint and that seemed to work well ^^

nice work!!!

I bought a japanese paper parasol in Kyoto to paint it but I don't wanna break it ...

At first, I thought of using acrylic but his base is aqueous.... paper + water = bad idea. So what type of paint you used on it? O:

(sorry for my poor english!!)

I actually used Acrylic paint X'D
I didn't have a problem with it, most parasol usually have a sealant or coating. I've also heard of Gesso being used.

acrylic? really? xD
So I'll try with acrylic, Gesso is the too thick and I don't think that helps.

I owe you one :blowkiss:

Frantic cleaning... Yikes... Did it make the carpet pinkish?

I love that you took progress pics! That way we can see the transformation it went through <3

It's also awesome that you not only paid attention to details on the outside, but the inside as well. I said this before on your Itachi pic with the umbrella/parasol, but that design is awesome. I'm such a gore fiend, so this makes me happy long time <3 Haha :+favlove:

I used Acrylic paint but there are probably better things to use X'D
But as long as you put a type of primer/sealer you should be fine ^^
